Jose Dalisay, Ph.D is a full Professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of the Philippines, where he also served as chair of the English department, Director of the UP Institute of Creative Writing, and Vice President for Public Affairs. He has published more than thirty books of fiction and nonfiction and has been inducted into the Palanca Hall of Fame. A Professorial Chair in Creative Writing has been endowed at University of the Philippines under his name.
